Xandra was scouted by a photographer while walking a runway show for a student friend for the Vogue Academy in Amsterdam. Since then, she has lived in Paris for more than 25 years and did numerous shoots and shows. Her work include covers for Vogue, LEI (Glamour), Marie Claire—basically, she did them all. 

Also, clients like Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, KENZO, L’Oréal, Garnier, Kerastase, and Guerland are brands that loved to work with her. The number of photographers she worked with is endless, JB Mondino, William Klein, Albert Watson, Jackie Nickerson, Kenneth Willard, Fabrizzio Ferri, Carli Hermes, Nadir, Giovanni Gastel, Robert Erdman, and Gioanpaoli Barbieri. Her most important runway shows were in Paris, Milan, London, New York and Tokyo.

Besides modeling Xandra does yoga and is still very agile as a result of 10 years of gymnastics. Also, her acting skills come in handy when working in one of the many commercials. She still loves the industry and being surrounded by so many creative people. To her it is still a joy to work as a model every day.
