Ziarah was born in Curacao. She was discovered on her 14th birthday in Den Bosch. She graduated from the Institute for Performing Arts in Amsterdam. She studied at the Wolf’Qademy and is trained in the Chubbuck Technique. The 2010, she started playing in theater productions and from 2014 her career started on screen. She works now as an actress, model and artist.

Ziarah uses painting as an expressive form of art that does not require words. Ziarah is now part of the HAMA gallery. Besides paintings, Ziarah also collaborates with her sister Tisja, creating another dimension by blending photography & painting in intriguing collages through their studio SistersJanssen.

Ziarah specializes in agility, acting, dance, sports and catwalk. She has always been involved in sports and competed in swimming in her teenage years. She now does a lot of yoga and pilates. To give back, Ziarah supports charities that are committed to women's rights, racism, children and the environment.

Among all of Ziarah’s interested and hobbies, family and friends remain the most important to her. She loves to cook for my family and friends. She loves to travel as well. For her, watching a good movie, painting, chilling with her pets, friends and family are what she enjoys most.
