Jana Voyvodich was scouted at 18 and started her career with a high-end boutique agency. She later embraced the rise of curve modeling, realizing it was not just a trend but the perfect fit for her natural shape. This shift led to a long and thriving career, and she continues to work successfully at size 38.
Although based in the Netherlands, Jana’s career has taken her across the globe. She has worked for clients like El Corte Inglés (Spain), Marina Rinaldi (Italy), and Ellos & Cellbes (Sweden), and was the face of MS Mode, Mart Visser’s curve collection, and most recently, Livera. She also walked in the finale of America’s Next Top Model and in shows for Edwin Oudshoorn and Jan Taminiau.
Some of her favourite workdays, however, are with Dutch editorial teams, where a familiar crew makes a shoot feel more like a school trip than work.
Beyond modeling, writing is a passion. She has published personal stories on topics like her family camper trip through Norway, meeting her biological father in Los Angeles, and the evolution of plus-size modeling for Marie Claire. Her latest article for VROUW magazine explored aging in the modeling industry.
Jana is always evolving—she takes acting classes annually, enjoys photography, creative writing, and strength training, and has a keen entrepreneurial spirit, producing high-end branding content with a creative pool of professionals.
Socially engaged, she spent over ten years collecting for KWF (Dutch Cancer Society) and served as a district coordinator for five years.
When she’s not working, she’s exploring with her son and their dog—by cargo bike (very Dutch!), at the beach, forest, or visiting friends. She thrives on cultural experiences, from theatre and museums to festivals and concerts.
Her career has been solid for years, but she’s just getting started."
