Lonneke was first scouted at the age of 14 when she was shopping in Amsterdam with her mom. A few years later, after graduating, she joined an agency and started modeling. Her most memorable modeling jobs were campaigns shooting in Brazil. She still feels connected to Brazil and loves to dance the salsa and sing in Portuguese.

While modeling, she studied jazz singing at the conservatory of Amsterdam and psychology at the University of Utrecht. Apart from modeling, Lonneke loves to sing and act. She has acted in a few short films and had a small role in the hit show This is Us. She also released a song under the name, Luna Dia, which can be found on spotify.

Lonneke has an affinity for languages, she has a Cambridge certificate in English and can sing in Spanish and Portuguese. Her hobbies include drawing, painting, going to the theatre, singing, writing poetry. She recently completed a course in screenwriting and hopes to continue with that when she has more time.

Lonneke stays active with horseback-riding, yoga and boxing.  Spending time with her family is what she loves the most, whether it's cooking together, going to the beach or being out in nature. Traveling to a luxury resort in Ibiza, backpacking through Vietnam or camping in France, she’s happy with any of it!

Lonneke lives by her core values of justice, equality and inclusiveness. She believes that art can make complex things more approachable to people, can spark interest and understanding and can bring people together.
