Juniq started modelling as a hobby around 2008 in Hamburg and developed it a bit over time until he decided in 2020 to do it more professionally. He changed agencies, got slowly more and more work and he put in a lot of effort into collaborations with photographers to work on his profile. The whole planning of a collab or test shoot sometimes even with other models, from first creative ideas, including the actual shoot to think on different poses and interacting with the photographer on a more free and creative vibe, is actually a lot of fun for him, where he can have a bigger part in the creative process and the final results. A really nice balance to paid jobs.
One of Juniq’s specialities seems to be a big variety in looks. He has been told by many photographers that he has a big variety not only in his facial expressions but simply his face and body would look very different in every angle which makes it very interesting to shoot with him. According to that, he also likes to jump into different roles. Working on creating different roles and outfits he can express himself in a way he didn't see before. He is glad he has had the chance to portray very different roles for commercials and photoshoots.
Balance is one of the most important things for Juniq. As much as you could find him at parties, he balances more and more with time alone, in nature and silence, reading, meditating and escaping a bit the hectic world we are living in and to stay grounded and to bring the calmness we all need to see in life or on a set.
What he likes the most about modelling is to meet so many different people and their jobs. Especially on big tv commercial productions.
And apart from living a bit on the creative side, Juniq likes that the modelling gives freedom to do other things in his life, to have time to read and work on himself. Being a model actually kind of helps a lot in pushing yourself to try to become your best version, not only physically but also mentally. And if this is not the biggest gift, then what?
He is very proud even for a late starter, that he managed with a lot of passion to collect quite an impressive portfolio on big clients he worked for within the last years such as Mercedes Benz, Starbucks, Porsche, H&M, ISDIN, Samsonite, Audi, Diesel, Mandarin Oriental, Telekom, Cofidis, Amplifon, Volkswagen, Kiabi, Skoda, Samsung, Orange and Bepanthen to name just a few. In his free time he likes to gather with friends, throw some dinner parties where he cooks for them on his rooftop. His big dream is to create an agency for conscious events that helps employees and individuals to connect with themselves so they can find their Juniq connexion and to help to make this world a better place.
