Xavier started modelling about 30 years ago, in the middle of his commercial engineering university studies. One of his friends told him that he looked like the twin brother of a Belgian super model who was very famous at the time. Xavier’s friend brought him to an agency in Brussels and he hit the ground running from there, walking in Armani shows, and shooting perfume campaigns, magazines and commercials. Some of the major brands include BMW, Chivas, Rodania, Deutsche bank, Mobistart, to name a few.
A few years later, Xavier began his acting career after casting for a role in a Parisian TV show. He appeared on Studio des Artistes, Vacances de l’Amour and Sur la Vie d’ma Mère as well as a short film.
With the birth of his son and some life changes he stopped modelling in 2008 and transitioned to a career in film production. His successful production company, SKDV INTERNATIONAL, took him to Asia where he specialized in the production of films for the luxury hospitality industry, working with major brands such as Banyantree, Aman and Sofitel.
Xavier moved back to Europe when covid abruptly halted the travel and hospitality industry. Now living in the South of Spain, one of Xavier’s friends suggested he get back into modelling and we are happy he did! A month later he was testing with Maurizio Montani in Italy and his modeling career picked up where it left off.
