Swantje participated in the German modeling contest 'Bravo Girl 1996' in search of adventure. She won a contract with a model agency and went on to receive international bookings. After graduating, she began her professional modelling career in Milan, Paris, Sydney, Cape Town, and New York.
After spending three exciting years in the business, Swantje pursued a master's degree in literature and linguistics. She then moved to London and Amsterdam with her husband, where she worked as a freelance journalist in the cultural sector.
During this time, she found inspiration and empowerment through Yogic practices, reconnecting with her spirit and feminine side, ultimately becoming an Ashtanga yoga teacher. Today, Swantje meditates daily and aims to inspire others to believe in pure hearts, good vibes, and kind souls.
Throughout the years, Swantje has continued modelling. One of her highlight jobs during this time was in London, where she was booked as the skin-double of Elle McPherson for a worldwide TV-commercial.
In addition to modelling, Swantje is also a painter who enjoys working with acrylic colours on large canvases. As an active and sporty person, she loves to take on challenges from her two young children, who are always excited to compete and see who can jump the highest on the trampoline.
One of her daily goals is to maintain a playful and grateful attitude towards life.
