Nica was born of Dutch and Spanish descent. She was first scouted at the age of 15, and was told to lose weight in order to fit the sample sizes. Nica’s body was comfortable where is was and she decided not to pursue modeling. At 17, she then returned to the fashion industry as a curve model, and we’re glad she did.

By the age of 18, Nica was working so often that she had to put a hold to her studies of international business and languages. One of Nica’s most memorable jobs was a campaign for Pronovias shot in Gaudi’s old house in Spain. She loves traveling for work, one trip she loved was to Palm Springs.

Apart from modeling, Nica has played football for several years. She is a huge FC Barcelona fan flies to Spain whenever she has the opportunity to watch.

Nica would describe her style as ‘street style tomboy’. Secretly, she is a sneaker-holic and has over 50 pairs of sneakers! Her favorite is a pair of Jordan 1’s. She loves finding a cool pair of trousers in a vintage shop.

Nica loves spending time in nature with her dog, Santo.
