Sjimmy her sister secretly registered her for a modeling contest and that was the start of a shiny career. From then on, Sjimmy lived and worked in London, Hamburg, Milan, New York and recently in Cape Town.

Sjimmy looks back “An assignment for a museum in Groningen with a world-famous photographer was one of her highlights. Just like a commercial for a well-known soft drink, and the shoot she did with her one-year-old son.”

In the past Sjimmy visited all circuits of Europe to race on a motorbike, nowadays she is no longer such a daredevil. Now she likes skiing, snowboarding, boxing, pilates, kite-surfing and hikes through woods, dunes, and mountains.
