Evelyne was scouted on the streets of Amsterdam at the age of fifteen. She started modeling while still in school and decided to ‘try it out’ for a year after graduation. This one-year trial soon became a rewarding full-time international career, now for more than 20 years. Milan, Paris, London, Miami and New York are all places she lived and worked, before moving back to Amsterdam.
Evelyne feels the best part of her job is that not one day is the same. Shooting winter coats at 40 degrees Celsius in Cape town, holding a baby crocodile in the Everglades while shooting bikinis, or getting bit by a monkey in Gambia—she experienced it all. But besides the diversity, she feels grateful for working and meeting different people from all over the world, some who feel like they have become extended family.
Evelyne loves to show her admiration to people who give everything to support others. Her girlfriend Monica is one of those people—as a fulltime philanthropist she puts her whole heart and soul to help to save kids from human trafficking. Her foundation “Beauty for Freedom” is a project where you can really see the results of their actions benefiting the right people.
